The PTM312 operator remote control is designed to control actuation devices - relays under the Modbus RTU exchange protocol. The remote control has 12 buttons and LEDs to control 12 channels of the remote relay plus the general relay of disabling.
The remote control has an operating mode switch: enable channels one at a time or disable all.
The modules have the following features:
- works in MASTER mode under the Modbus RTU exchange protocol;
- has two operating modes: MASTER for control and SLAVE for configuration and checking;
- the remote control has 12 channels for controlling 12 channels of the remote relay;
- installed steel vandal-resistant buttons;
- LEDs are installed for each button to control enabling of the remote relay;
- additional tumbler switches operation mode: ON and OFF all;
- the module connects to the RS485 bus via a 4-wire cable, including power;
- the module supports the exchange protocol: MODBUS RTU;
- sealed plastic housing;
- powering of the module from 7V to 25V.
The module is made in a plastic sealed enclosure IP64 in a desktop variant. From the bottom it has a stand for tilting. It also has a bracket for mounting on a wall.The module has a built-in impulse voltage stabilizator. It has constant power, high efficiency, and a large supply voltage range.
Connection of the RS-485 bus and power is being made using a detachable connection.
For switching mode from MASTER to SLAVE and vice versa, one must either change the value of the HR3 register, or press and hold the button on the board for 5 seconds until the LED on the board lights up. The remote control will transmit commands from the buttons only in the MASTER mode, but will not respond to requests from another master. In the SLAVE mode, the module will not transmit commands when the buttons are pressed, but in this mode it will respond to requests from another master and will give values of its registers.
