The DRM21R Relay module RS-485 MODBUS. It is a module in a housing on a 2 unit DIN rail with 2 discrete or analog inputs and one relay output up to 30A 240V. The DRM21R Executive Module is designed to create building automation systems.
The DRM21R Relay module RS-485 MODBUS. It is a module in a housing on a 2 unit DIN rail with 2 discrete or analog inputs and one relay output up to 30A 240V. The module is controlled via the RS-485 from a controller or by PC commands under the MODBUS RTU protocol.
The module has the following features:
- the module has 2 analog inputs;
- the module has 1 relay output;
- The relay can commute up to 30A 240V. The relay has a group of A contacts (short circuit);
- switching relay at the moment of grid voltage transition through a zero. This reduces the amount of spark on the contacts, increases the service life and increases the switching current;
- automatic detection of the presence of a frequency of 50Hz. In the absence of a grid, switching contacts occurs at the time of admission of a command;
- the module is connected to the RS485 bus via a 4-wire cable, including power;
- the module supports the exchange protocol: MODBUS RTU;
- built-in real time clock;
- automatic calculation of coefficients of analog inputs;
- built-in algorithms for the interaction of inputs and outputs. The number of algorithms is 128.
- the module can work together with the controllers: “RD” or industrial controllers;
- installation in an electrical board on a DIN rail, 2 DIN wide;
- powering of the module from 7V to 24V.
When connecting to contacts of large inductive loads relay (contactors, starters) it is necessary to connect a snubber (damping capacitor) in parallel with the contacts.
